How do I protect myself from copyright infringement

Recently I got a order on product description. The client wants me to browse the online stores, get some photos of the product and edit a short video. The problem is the provided materials are not clear to be copyright free: they send me websites where to get the photos from (I just resize them and make the copy).  Do I make a contract to establish where my reponsibility ends? How do I tackle this issue?

You have to let them understand that the pictures and videos are copyright materials. Look for alternatives. Look for other pictures and videos that are free to use commercially, whether free or premium.
