I have created my first gig on fiverr yesterday. Previously I have worked on local projects and just wanted to start my freelance journey on fiverr. 

Could you please share with me some important tips and tricks so that I can create gigs properly and get my first order on fiverr. 

You could share any resource here so that I can follow them and improve my profile.

I want to share some tips for you.

1. Active online as long as you can 

2. Reply as soon as possible to the client message

3. Check buyer job offer in Buyer Requests section regularly and send offer with work proposal

4. After getting the job, keep updated with client

5. After completing the job, provide details explanation of your work

6. Ensure post purchase service if needed

Keep in mind every message is important from the buyer.

DO NOT listen to these horrible “stay active/online, share your gig social media, attractive tags etc advices” they are crap. And always check profiles of people who is advising you, if they have zero to very little sales then it’s best to ignore their “advices” as an example a couple of commenters in this topic. 
 

DO read fiverr terms and conditions to avoid your account being banned, fiverr is very strict with it and doesn’t give second chances. You can also watch free fiverr course on how to be a successful seller to learn how fiverr works

Send buyer requests everyday.

Stay with forum, you can get a lot of authentic informations.
