Too many orders! im confused

I have been going on vacation mode a lot because I keep getting bombarded with orders every time I get off vacation mode, i could literally get 10-15 orders a day easily if i dont regularly go on vacation mode and then I saw someone write a tip for putting a longer delivery time instead of vacation mode. How long should I put my delivery time for, and what would be a reasonable price for 24 hour or express service? Should 1 day delivery be $5 or $10 i dont want my orders to completely stop?

This is for my psychic reading gig, im a newbie so advice is greatly appreciated 🙂

@azoya186

You can use vacation mode (but it’s glitchy)

You can use suspend mode (takes a while to make a comeback)

You can extend delivery times AND put a notice on your Gig Description.

How many orders can you do (reasonably & effectively) in one day?

Example 15

How many days a week do you really want to work?

Example 5

So, you can reasonably do 75 orders per week (15 x 5).

But, if you get 15 orders a day, 7 days a week (105) you’ll always have a backlog of 30 orders, or 2 extra days of work ( 40% more work each week than you can effectively handle ). So any “new order” would have a forced minimum of a 2 day delivery.

So you’re minimum delivery time defaults to 2 or 3 days. If that is not enough, start increasing in small increments. Increase your delivery time to 4 or 5 days and see what happens.

If it curtails your orders enough to keep you sane, let it be. If not, try extending another day or two or three.

Plus you can always put a notice (like I do) that says for example; "Delivery is set for 14 days. However I often deliver in 3 to 5 days. Message me before ordering."

Good luck! 🙂

I’ve worked with several “psychics” on radio projects, podcasts, book trailers and the internet. As far as marketing, I would go for the believers and advertise / promote where potential buyers hang out and make a huge effort to appeal to the believer (the seeker) in them.

Your gig description…

  • Is all large font and bold. Use a normal font size and only bold where needed.
  • Too much, “I”, “I will”, “My”, “me”. Not enough “you” (the Buyer).
  • Lacks focus. What exactly is the Gig Offer? What does the Buyer have to do?

Otherwise I would do what a “psychic” individual (that I consulted to on a radio project) did. Used their “psychic” abilities to make a fortune watching trends and speculating in real estate and the stock market.

=))

I'm still waiting for someone to win James Randi's $1,000,000 challenge to prove a psychic ability, ANY psychic ability. I think the offer's been standing for decades now. He maintains a list of the applicants who've applied (and lost) the prize. Can anyone tell me what the hell "paranormal urination" is? L-)

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i respect everyone’s opinion. Some people like me just believe and don’t need proof, and others need proof which is fine. I’m not here to debate whether psychics are real I know what my abilities are and what my potential is, I’m just trying to optimize my gigs. People should just look at it as entertainment. You play the lottery but don’t always win, it’s kind of the same thing in my opinion. Psychic readings are for entertainment purposes and also for those who believe if you do that’s great if not that’s understandable. I’m not one to judge, I appreciate all constructive criticism on how I can better my gigs, thank you everyone kindly 🙂
