I’m a client for an artwork gig and my seller has barely responded since I placed an order, not even giving a sketch

I’m not mad about the possibility of late work, because I understand IRL troubles, it’s just the radio silence on the whole thing. I messaged them about it, and I got nothing until right when the order’s deadline was almost here, by hours at that.

Am I being unreasonable or am I right to get upset for the radio silence?

Well how long has the radio silence been going for, when was the last time you talked? Did they explicitly say you will be presented a sketch before delivery, and time you'd be presented said sketch?

f they don't respond or deliver after the deadline you will be able to cancel the order.

Going to add on: If the order was delivered, and if you choose to give the Seller a review, be sure to rate 'communications' honestly.
