Simple answer; any time is the best time. Why wait with offering your services? It's not about when you publish your gig, it's about how you deliver your orders (e.g. on time, good quality & great communication throughout). 

So let me put my marketing manager hat on; why wait? Publish your gig and make it great! 

(Disclaimer that's besides the point; I understand and please keep in mind the above line is not the best representation of my skills as a poet).

When one publishes a gig doesn't matter. What matters is how well the gig is structured, presented, and articulate of what it promises to deliver.

Don't rush out a half-a**ed gig if more time would result in a better end product.
