Hmm...ย

If only there was a way to limit the number of revisions that you offer...

Actually, there is.

Offering unlimited revisions is dangerous EXACTLY because of this. Because it MEANS unlimited. (yes, buyers can place a revision even when there is a limit, but you can tell them 'hey, I only offer 2 revisions' and so on. YES, some people will use you if you offer unlimited revisions but... you are the one who offers the feature, so...ย

(It's completely fine to complain about stuff, by the way, my issue is that it's something you could easily avoid!)

There should be a limit to revisions

There is a way.

1. Don't offer unlimited revisions

2. Clearly state your revision policy and how many revisions (if any) are included with an order.

3. If the buyer wants a revision for an order, remind them of your revision policy and number of available revisions and that any revision requests that exceed the stated scope/amount would cost additionally.

This doesn't stop a scummy buyer from endlessly slamming the "request revision" button, but places you in a far stronger position when the order inevitably winds up with CS.
