Fiverr needs to change its level system to categorized sellers in a better way.

Fiverr is getting saturated and this is the time to revise fiverr level system. Most of the new sellers make sales of 400$ plus in few weeks and get promoted to level 1, similarly the level 2 is also easy to achieve because it requires 2000$ of sales and bunch of other easy to achieve benchmarks.

I think fiverr should revise its level 1 and level 2 requirements because all sellers are being treated in the same way, some level 2 sellers have time on platform over 3 to 4 years and 50000$ + sales but they are being considered almost similar to level 2 seller who has recently achieved the badge. Top rate seller selection criteria is still good as it is manual process.

My suggestion is to set these requirements for getting level 1 seller badge.

  • Be an active seller for at least 180 days
  • Complete at least 50 orders (all time)
  • Earn $1000 or more
  • Maintain a 4.7-star rating over 60 days
  • Deliver a 90% response rate score over 60 days
  • Score a 90% order completion rate over 60 day
  • Achieve a 90% on-time delivery score over 60 days
  • Receive no warnings over 30 days

    For Level 2 seller

  • Be an active seller for at least 250 days
  • Complete at least 150 orders (all time)
  • Earn $4,000 or more
  • Maintain a 4.7-star rating over 60 days
  • Deliver a 90% response rate score over 60 days
  • Score a 90% order completion rate over 60 days
  • Achieve a 90% on-time delivery score over 60 days
  • Receive no warnings over 30 days

in this way, saturation can be addressed properly.

It's a good suggestion. Except for the order count at least in my case. Because to complete one gig it takes me about 4 to 5 days. And just to achieve second level it will take me 2 years when ernings will be already on top seller level.

yes order count can be neglected however, earnings should be counted
