Today, i was just scrolling the fiverr community. I saw that most of the people have reputations in thousands. Did you received any benefit of it?

As like fiverr seller level, community reputation also has a benefit?

Best Regards

No. Nothing. Nada.

you have it all wrong, it’s not for us to receive benefits. It’s for you, new sellers, to see whom you will trust and whose advice you will listen, for example obviously my advice will be more credible than an advice of a person with zero reputation.

Reputation as a seller DOES matter but forum reputation DOESN'T matter in regards to selling. Forum rep only really conveys how much time one has spent/wasted on the forum. 😅

There are real & tangible benefits to visiting and interacting on the forum (in a productive way, not with one sentence spam posts).
And that is .... Information! The only other thing you have to decide, is who to listen to!

Ciao Maria 🙂 yes, perfectly. I would like to add that "in any ways", it's important to build a reputation "in general". I mean in life, online, with your profession, in a Forum etc etc. Not because you "earn" something, but it's because you want to show who you are, what you do and your talent.

Nothing. The forum ranks are just for fun. They have absolutely no effect upon your gigs.

Can anyone explain me about reputation?

Reputation is a very rough estimate on how reputable a profile is. A higher reputation can imply that what that Member says is more likely to be trustworthy than a Member with a very low reputation. That said, you should still use caution and not overly rely on the number, as it can and has been gamified and thus cheated by some forum users. It is a bit more reliable than forum rank, though.

Really the best way to tell if a user is reliable is to check their post history and read. Is the user consistent? Do they actually explain, or do they resort to copy/paste? Are the posts actually relevant to the thread/topic they're posted in? Do they actually address an issue or question?

is this is good??

It's neither good nor bad. It just is.

Is a pile of rocks good or bad? Completely depends on acquisition method and intended use.

Forum reputation DOES NOT help the gigs or sales on the platform.

So instead of chasing forum reputation with badly written advice to everyone on a daily basis - it would be far more productive to practice and refine own skillset and get better at it.

Plus, people with zero sales should not be advising other new sellers!!

@priyank_modThanks for your valuable replies. I understood your advice. But as a new seller and stay in forum activity, everyone should remain in different ways, such as post reply, likes, comment, etc. In this way, he or she can be busy with activities.

When a new seller is born, he has no projects or zero sales. Then he can give his own comments and advice to help others if it goes. After getting any orders or projects, he will be as experienced as yours.

Though you are a seller plus member, I think you have encountered this situation before.

This has nothing to do with forum badges but it does touch on the things you should be using the forum for - to learn, grow, share, and connect with others on the forum. If you're interested in growing your business, I think @priyank_mod offered great advice.

Staying "busy" on the forum chasing badges is not a good use of your time (as @priyank_mod advises). Forum badges won't help you make money. If anything, it uses up valuable time you could be using to improve your business.

I wasn't active on the forum until I was a Level 2 seller. I tried as a newbie seller once, but the forum was so full of bad advice and spam that it was hard to know who to listen to. The Help Center had all the information I needed to grow my business to the point that I was confident that I could identify bad advice if I saw it.

Same here @vickieito, I wasn't active on the forum for the initial 3+ years of my journey on the platform. Like you said, most of the answers are available in the Help Center and in general, Fiverr's UI is intuitive and common-sensical to follow for one and all.

Though once in a few months, I used to come here and read the pinned posts from Frank and other veteran sellers to expand my point-of-view but most of the stuff about Fiverr's processes is something I have learnt on my own. (I'm sure this must have been the case with you too🙌).

Loud and Clear!

But I feel like it’s a definite score there for a reason and a logic behind put there by Fiverr showing up on your forum profile page expressing some credibility, sort of maybe 🤔

I clicked it on some pages of people around and it opened up their reactions, post interactions count etc, probably that’s how the system calculates it.

By the way got a question for you! 🙋‍♂️

You have to enable it in your settings or it shows up at it’s own ?

Asking that for it’s not there on my page, I mean no score yet, a big 0 zero though I try to remain active here on forums whenever I can and have some spare time to explore and learn about this totally new field to me called freelancing.IMG_1980.jpeg.ca9dfeaf654df1a6dc6583a7604d42c7.jpeg

Got another relevant question about the profile page if you would like to enlighten me!

Most of people profile pages I come across are shown as Member & Seller (of course only people who published their gig as well ) while with me it shows only as Member inspit of that  I have got an active gig, though no order placed or catered yet and neither am I in any hurry for that as a part timer freelancer, sort of 😅IMG_1981.jpeg.71f651acd408a76278e68f7404bd0df1.jpeg

How to make it look like Member & Seller like others ?

This too be to enabled, somehow through settings or what !?
So many things beyond my research yet, such a vast field of freelancing it looks like! Learning and exploring those is a great whole new experience though for me.

The reason it's there is because it came packaged with Invision.

Concerning reputation, it's rather irrelevant when people gamify getting points for no purpose.

Lastly, 'Seller' is not a label and 'Member' is the default. What is, is 'Seller Plus Member', which is a completely separate Fiverr program.

You are better off spending your time doing yoga :classic_love:, developing other skills, and strengthening your profile/gigs instead of trying to get these forum rankings/badges.

@imagination7413 & @mandyzines

Thanks you very much for the support ❤️🙏

But honestly your replies left me a bit more confused raising even more questions in my mind though somethings got clear, just a little bit.

I will type those out as soon as I have some time later today.

It’s a whole process of learning new things and it takes time in a  field that is brand new for you, I understand that. I’m in no hurry for the orders or the gig ranking etc., bla bla you know the typical things with newbies I see all around in forum threads scattered here and there.

Yes, yoga is like a lifeline to me.

Wish you great time ahead today.

Don’t know if it’s “Invision” as you typed or “Envision” you meant. If it’s former, (likely so) the tools used by designers, the Studio and App I’m not familiar with those and I don’t want to know about those either.

I understand completely about the irrelevancy of the forum scores to be of any help for getting orders or it plays a roll to rank the gig higher.

No, I’m not a Seller Plus Member program and probably that’s why it’s not showing up for me.

No worries 😉❤️🙏

Yes “What” “Why” “How” is the real thing.

Yoga I do every day for my fitness, like a passion, a craze, guess it’s in my blood especially Yoga for Strength, arm balances .Yes, of course I strongly believe in having a stunning gig and it’s only that which brings me into the forums to dig out for the tips and not for the scores at all . I’m working on that end as well with whatever time I can manage. It’s just that I’m in no hurry and it’s curiosity about the things happening around which makes you ask questions. It’s a blessing indeed. Sometimes, curiosity can be a more powerful motivator than urgency to make you do certain things. You feel like little Alice in Wonder Land.

You got captivating, mature, sweet voice Mandy 👌 This “man felt dizziness” while listening to your voice overs on the gig 🥰🙏🌹
