Two days ago I was pleasantly surprised to receive a "fiverr's choice" badge on my main gig. I know it doesn't mean much, but it was a nice bonus, reassuring me I'm moving in the right direction.

Yesterday, I checked my niche to find that this badge is no longer on my gig, but on another gig which had this badge before it was placed on mine.

My question is, was that some sort of glitch? Or does fiverr change these badges so frequently? Have you ever had this experience before?

Such a sick joke from Fiverr.. it's like giving a kid lollipop and taking it back immediately.. dang.. I feel for you man.. don't overthink it.. let's hope it's a glitch..

I've had it on me for a whole straight month the past month. I'm not sure. There are times I get it every other week. 

I think they have metrics in place for it, because how often it changes definitely doesn't seem too intuitive if someone manually looks into it....... considering there's always a "Fiverr's choice" for most (if not all) keywords you search for. 

And for others who might not know, you are a Fiverr's choice for that specific keyword. You can be a Fiverr's choice for several keywords at the same time, but they pan out differently depending on your performance in that specific keyword. (And no don't ask me how to rank your gig, because I'll throw a virtual coconut at you).

Though they also show Fiverr's choice gigs when you don't search using any keywords, ie. when you just look at the first page of a subcategory (eg. recommended sort).

It might also pan out differently depending on your performance if they click on the gig that had that badge from the first page (without doing a search), and whether (or how many of) those clicks got converted to orders and maybe what their ratings were. It might depend on the seller's level as the higher levels seem to have more chance of being shown with the badge.

I think you should ask Fiverr customer support for this matter. They can tell you exact what is the reason.

Fiverr's Choice is a feature based on hidden metrics and reviews most likely ... some have it for a day others for a year  , it depends on different factors and it's something automated , no one is doing it on purpose ... I receive it like 3-4 times a month lately which means that this could be an indicator that my buyer's satisfaction is improving .
