Fiverr is a marketplace for freelancers with an algorithm no one understands. What worked for A might not work for B.

Now let's go to what worked for me. It took me about a year to get my first order. I wasn't serious at first but in the 6th month of opening it, I decided to face fiverr squarely.

I created 3 gigs and made sure my gigs and profile were highly optimized.

Here are a few optimization tips:

  1. Use related keywords of your service in your gig description.
  2. State clearly what you do in your gig title.
  3. Think like a buyer and use tags with words you think buyers will search for.
  4. Use clear images that show the services you render. Your gig images should also show your face. This makes buyer trust you more.
  5. Promote your gigs on social media everyday
  6. Send proposals buyers request everyday
  7. Stay online as much as you can.

These are just few tips that can help you out.

Stay blessed and I wish you sales soonest!
