Some people think Buyer's request is bad. Why tho?

I got my first order from there.

My gigs is drowned in all the other gigs so I feel like that this is the only way to get orders.

Anyway, why do you think Buyer's request is bad? I think its good for new sellers

I think the main reason why people don't like BR's because often the buyers who post in there have ridiculous demands (e.g. write a whole book for $30 or do a 5 hour VO for $20). So some buyers who post in there don't seem to treat sellers and their work/time with the respect it deserves.

However, it's not all bad of course! It can definitely be a way to receive an order especially when you're just beginning on Fiverr. So by no means discount this possibility indeed. And congratulations for receiving an order through there! Because just like on the search page, your offer can be also drowned by the thousands of other sellers who also post their offers there (sometimes with automated replies which is the most terrible idea). So kudos to you! 😇

Yea I saw someone with a ridiculous demand. I have 800 photos that needs to be edited ( for 20$) - he said. But yeah I have sorted some out and I got more cautious on who to send offers to

I've had a few orders from BR in the beginning but I started to see a pattern very quickly. Most people who post there (in my niche at least) want a quick job for pennies. Some still seem great but I just don't need it anymore.

But... BR as a whole needs to be revamped. Needs a report function (and many other things...)

The emphasis is on 'quick job for pennies'. Like 50 thousand words (written) in less than a month. For $60. Not $600. $60.

I see the appeal in doing quick turnaround jobs but there are niches that just don't work that way (or at least shouldn't.) BR has lots of buyers who don't know what they are asking for (or don't care...)
