Creating a Video Ad For Another Fiverr User

I was just approached by someone here on Fiverr in regards to creating a video for his business to go up onto his account... to help advertise his service.  Is there any policy that doesn't allow this here on Fiverr?  I just don't want to get into trouble.  Thanks.

At first I assumed it was editing their video (which is fine). But I am assuming now that you mean being a spokesperson for their product? I guess you need the input from people who have similar services as you.. @enunciator

I think it would also be best if you ask Customer Support directly, so you will have an official answer.

Are you talking about creating a gig video for their gig on Fiverr? You are allowed to make a video for them, just keep in mind that videos have to follow Fiverr guidelines and TOS like everything else (so not containing external links or contact info, etc.).

This is fine according to fiverr TOS. Hiring a graphic designer on fiverr to make your gig image is fine. You can hire a proofreader to check your profile description. There's nothing wrong with buying gigs to use to improve your own gig as long as everything still falls in line with Fiverr's TOS.

Thank you for the mention but I'm a relative newbie compared to the OP in the spokesperson field.  😅

Hmm, as for the original question. That might be prohibited. This is from the 'Community Standards' page:

The key points being the "have someone else present you" and "Do not post non-original videos." I'm guessing this is in relation to their own gig?

If the buyer is trying to pass off your work as representative of their own quality or attempt to have you as actually being them, then that sounds like violation territory.

Thank you...... Yes... that's what I'm thinking as well...... I'm on the front page many times..... and it could be that they are thinking if customers see me in the ad, they will think it's me?  I have no idea..... but this guy is just literally begging me......   I will decline.. Thank you again.
