I got my first order after two hours from creating my first gig (on the same day I created my account).

If your gig is for a task that is needed, and your gig is described well and priced appropriately, it is likely you will at least receive some messages early on, so you will need to learn to communicate well and close a sale to get those first sales. I would say more than 50% of running a Fiverr business is actually about marketing & customer service, the rest is about doing the job well.
