If you change the gig banner, do you lose the gig ranking?

There is no such thing as gig rank, so no, you won't "lose the gig ranking". However, yes, your gig performance is always changing. Even when you don't make changes, your gig could rise or fall within the fluid and constantly changing search results.

Sorry to hear that, dear. Changing either Gig thumbnails or anything may affect your Gig performance and ranking. But it entirely depends on the way you understand your clients and what you want to target. If you are jumping your gig prices from $5 (lower value) to $100 (higher value), it will lower the number of orders because most clients want valuable results at a lower price. But at the end of the day, because of a higher amount, you will end up getting more revenue, no matter if your number of orders is less.

About the gig thumbnails/banners: It entirely depends on your changes. If your new banner is less attractive than the previous one, you're going to get trouble getting impressions and orders. But on the other hand, if you know what you are targeting and what thumbnail should be the best on your gig, you may get a lot of impressions and attract a lot of clients. It entirely depends on you. Of course, after the changes, it will affect your account, but the number of orders may also rise; you don't know!

Yes it does when you edit or modify gig image or gig description after gig publication. So best option is that take time and keep research about other sellers service that match your service. And also most important part is that do gig image SEO with attractive quality image and also write SEO friendly gig description with proper keywords. I hope this will be helped you a lot. Best of luck!!

but many experience seller said, if anyone edit his/her ranked gig, which gig will be lost rank.

Many experienced sellers would not be telling you to "rank your gigs", because they already know that's not how Fiverr works. Please stop listening to the false advice of new sellers. They do not yet know how Fiverr works either.

There is no such thing as rank in the Fiverr search system, because that is not how the search system works. Results are delivered to match the unique metrics of each individual searcher. Because of this, every searcher sees different search results. There is no rank, therefore, there is no rank to gain or lose.

Please do not call me dear. I am not related to you, nor do I have a familial relationship with you. "Dear" is not a word you use to refer to someone in a business setting. My username is "jonbaas". You can call me by my username.

This changed, because your gig and its metrics changed. Whatever changes you made, changed its value in relation to the people searching for it.

That had nothing to do with any rank.

Do you always give up so easily? Just because your gig metrics changed, did not mean that the gig suddenly became a failure.

It DOES NOT affect gig ranking, because there is no such thing as gig ranking in the Fiverr search system.

Confused about losing Gig's rank. But gig impressions and clicks can change.

Once again, there is no such thing as gig rank in the Fiverr search system, because that is not how the Fiverr search system works.

Then are the number of impressions a joke in the dashboard? If I am not wrong, 'ranking' refers to the 'impressions.'
More ranking means coming top in the search and getting more impressions.

Impressions are merely a metric. They are registered whenever someone else is looking for services like yours, and your gig shows up in the search results. Impressions have absolutely nothing to do with rank, because some searchers will see your gig (if your gig is a good match to their user metrics), and others will not see your gig (if it is not a good match for them). There is no rank. Gigs are not "ranked" in the search results. The Fiverr search system is not like Google.

No, it does not. None of the gigs in the search system are where you see them because of any rank. What you see in the search results, is not what everyone else sees, because gigs are only served in the search results, if they match the metrics of the searcher looking for similar gigs.

The search results, therefore, are always changing, dependent entirely upon the unique metrics of each searcher, who sees different search results.

Yes if you make changes in your Fiverr gig like you update your title, tags and thumbnail your ranking will definitely be affected. Choose your gig titles and tags carefully and don't change them. Design your gig image using Canva or any other website but don't change your image.
