Can I make a real life deliver of a picture by mail?

So, I was wondering if I could send my customers their orders in real life. Let me explain:

I am a watercolor artist, and I would like to know if I can actually send the watercolors via mail, and in case I could, if it would be dangerous for me to do it.

It used to be possible for sure. There was an option for physical shipping you had to tick off or ignore when setting up a gig. It always seemed like too much of a hassle for a seller to handle, though.
