Guest zanardi2 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Let's say that a buyer contacts me because he needs a piece of software to be done. How can I tell if this is schoolwork, thus breaking T&C, or not? Except for the obvious fact where he tells me so.
imagination7413 Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Are the instructions written like an assignment (step-by-step, textbook or worksheet-like)? Do they reference things (lessons, page numbers, concepts)? Is it just a feeling? Did they use words that might imply it's for a class or has a due-date/time? Trust your instincts in this. If it feels like an assignment, it probably is one. You could try asking them to clarify a point. See if they provide additional information, or just give you free-rein.
