👋 Hi shaplaa, unfortunately buyer requests are a near to useless feature, as they ofter are the field where scammers and really sketchy buyers lurk.

📉 Also, the chance you have of getting an order from buyer requests is really low (i've personally sent 147 and got only 1 answer, and those are from my first days in Fiverr, now I am not using them anymore).

💰 I know that to a newbie that seems the only way of getting your first orders, but there are many other ways to get them, for example advertising your gig online and offline. The first example (of many) that pops up in my mind offhand is the following: probably one of your acquaintances needs the service you offer on Fiverr so instead of ,aking the translaction IRL ask them to buy your service through Fiverr.

It may have to do with how you are replying to Buyer's Requests. If you are just sending out a generic message to everyone, it is likely your bid will be ignored or trashed. Also, if you are sending messages talking about all your experience and other things that the buyer may not really care about, this can be a turn off. Addressing what the buyer is asking for and how you can help them is the first way to be successful in getting an order from that area of the site.

If your Gig is in an overcrowded category, this will also work against you, as the buyer is probably getting literally 100's of messages and it can be overwhelming. If your message does not stand out in some way, it will probably be overlooked or deleted.

Yes you are right, I think getting  response here is harmless but a challenge for good skillset .

I have seen somewhere on social media, Someone gets 31 orders on Fiverr and every order is from the buyer's request. I also got 1 order from a buyer request 2days earlier. Maybe the buyer can't see the message after 50 replies from the seller so you should have to be in 50.
