once you delivered your work late, fiverr gig impression and ranking in tour dashboard drop drastically

Of course it does. Algorithm based on your performance and delivering your orders late is bad performance. Fiverr want to show only excellent sellers that deliver top notch work on time etc etc.
If you are late with your orders then fiverr is not inclined to show you more in search as that might affect their customers satisfaction

What if it is client's fault, that it takes them several days to respond? Why should we be affected in that case, it has happened to me several times lately and it's not fair right 😑

If this is a problem, wait until you have people placing 5 orders at a time and then they make up their mind and want to cancel. You are not at fault, yet you see those stats dropping fast....

If you are finding that you need to get clarification from your buyers then you may want to take a look at your Gigs to see if you have a FAQ section OR a Requirements section they have to fill out before the order clock starts.

If the buyer is not responding, you need to visit the Resolution Center and ask for an extension on the order long before there are only hours left before it is due. Even IF it does go late before they read the "Request Open" (that is how it will look on the dashboard) when they hit the "Accept Resolution", it should extend the order by how ever many days you asked. This is only IF they accept the time extension - they are under no obligation to. Once accepted, the order is no longer counted against you as late as long as you deliver it by the new and agreed upon due date.

I would say though, if you are having issues with this more often than not as you did mention it has happened to you several times "lately", it may be something within your Gig that needs some adjustment to avoid this. What is your normal delivery time? One day? Two? You may have to extend that OR make your buyers fill out requirements. Much depends on "why" this is happening more to you.
