Top selling gig vs other gigs?

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if I should put my complete focus on my top selling gig or focus on my other gigs and expand my business in different subcategories too ?

How do you usually work with that?

That's not something that anyone can answer for you, nor should it be. I can only offer a point for consideration: While focusing on a specialty works for normal businesses, over-reliance on a single product or service has ruined many. Rapid expansion just as much.

So, I guess my opinion to your 'or' is: neither. Keep doing what you're already doing for now. Grow slow. This boom very well might not last.

I'd keep doing whatever you're doing on your main gig, it seems to be working great. Then I would launch a couple more niche gigs and give them time to pick up some steam while the main gig is still carrying the profile in terms of earnings.

At any point the main gig may drop in performance, demand for that service may lower, competition may get much tougher, etc. so it's a good idea to have a couple other gigs ready to pick up the slack when that happens.
