SOME PART IF TOS THAT NEEDS EXPLANATIONS

khenz211

Question

From the attached picture i screenshotted from the TOS page, there is a part that says ‘any exchange of personal information  required from the completion of service must be provided in order page’ does it mean a seller can ask for buyer’s Email to deliver an active order? It is in the third line of the attached screenshot.

 It exactly.
For example if your service is designing business cards then you can set up as one of the requirements  to fill out “contact information, fb, email etc” (everything what clients need to add on business cards).
But you still have to deliver everything through fiverr you don’t deliver orders through email.

And the part in line 5 that says ‘seller further confirms that whatever information they receive from the buyer, which is not public domain, shall not be used for any purpose whatsoever other than for the delivery of work to the buyer’ can you help understand that?

It means exactly what I explained 😉

You can use that information to deliver an order like adding that information on business cards and delivering business cards but you can not use that information to contact buyers outside of fiverr or use that information for any other purposes.
