Help! Client wants to postpone an order until next year - how do I resolve this without it affecting my stats?

I have a returning client and I want to keep them happy but they asked for more work and after they submitted the requirements and the countdown started, they are asking for a refund and to postpone this work until next year when they are ready.

I went to the resolution center to see what I can do and the only option I saw was to "ask the buyer to cancel". I know this will affect my cancellation rate and I do not want this to affect my stats.

Has anyone experienced this and used the option "Buyer will order again" and it NOT affect your rating/ranking?

Thanks so much!

In any way you cancel it from resolution center, it will affect your completion rate.

You can reach customer support with a ticket from https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new/order and explain everything.
Also, ask them to cancel the order from their and help you to avoid any negative effect on your completion rate and metrics.

Customer support will do it happily.
