Responding to buyer requests as a new seller (Question)

Recommended Posts

My question is to experienced sellers in Fiverr. Is it necessary for a new seller like me to mention that I am a new seller to the client? I'm kind of grey in this area and hoping for your valuable feedback. What makes a good buyer request offer?

Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Creative Howl.

Concerning your newness, you don't need to mention that, since people can see your join-date on your profile. You do, however, need to be experienced in what you're offering as a service.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it.

I always read through the client's request very carefully before I respond and my response is personalized each time.
However, I'm guilty of sending low priced offers hoping that it would give me an advantage as a new seller on the platform (Mind I have done my homework when pricing my gigs in such a way that it's both competitive and fair for the service that I offer).

What are your thoughts on this? Should I hold my standard when responding to buyer requests or stick to low pricing till I level up my ranks?

Hope I didn't put you in a weird spot there haha.

Thanks again!

I'm not saying you can't discount yourself, just be aware that, if you do, you you might be tempted or pressured to do so again.

It's true. I had similar thoughts too.
Thank you so much for your help!
