The Fiverr search system does not work like Google. Your gig is shown, only to those searchers whom the algorithm thinks are a good match for your services. Not always true. My friend edited their gig and got an order 2 hours later. So it is best to say it CAN take up to 48 ours to start getting impressions again. As @vickiespencer said, that's not always true. Whenever I've edited my gigs, they've been up and running in just a few minutes. There's no way you can guarantee you lost your "rank" due to editing your gig. Others factors might've effected your placement. Gigs are constantly being rotated on the platform. I have changed my prices at various times and it has never affected anything. Only when you change the title of your Gig, the video, pictures, or description will there be a chance it is taken out of the rotation for moderation before being put back in.
