What’s the scope of response rate?

aysekoker

Question

So I have been always replying clients who have messaged me, even replying the ones who dropped  in spam folder however recently my response rate suddenly dropped down. I mostly get overseas clients so I reply them as soon as I saw their texts. I was wondering what’s the scope of this stat, for example our conversation after first message also counts? Let’s say I said “thank you” to buyer and they wrote “you are welcome” and if I don’t respond to this, would it affect my stats too? If anyone can explain, I’d be grateful!

For the statistic of the response rate, it will count only the reply of first message. Once you replied for the 1st message you no need to worry about the timing of other messages as it will not be counted for the statistic. But maintaining good timing for each messages are most recommended, to keep your customers with you.

Also the statics will show the average rating of last 60 days, there for it will change day by day.

It's good to hear that you're replying to spam before marking it, as that's usually the cause. You might want to check your spam folder, though, as on occasion, Fiverr sends a message directly there without notifying users. It's possible that one of these auto-spam messages might be causing your problem. If so, you can try contacting CS to see if they will fix the bug on their end, but you might just have to wait out the 60 days, for it to cycle out.
