Fiverr skill test is it important?

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: Taking the test alone, supposedly yes, but if so then it’s a small enough factor to be unnoticeable, or negligible. If, however, you learn and apply what you’ve learned, then maybe. There’s not nearly enough feedback, and even then what is said is also unqualifiable due to lack of a control group. AND due to the algorithm being a dynamic/shifting/changing secret. You can’t test what can’t be isolated.

Quote

“Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily.”

This can be found here, Fiverr Help and Education Center in the second paragraph.

For the Old seller who are selling from years and have level 2. I don’t thing it will benefit them much but for new sellers its a kind of opportunity to verify their skill and earn a badge for skill text. It will create trust for buyers to hire.

Thanks for your reply. Could you please elaborate your statement. Didn’t get you.

Of course.

Completing fiverr’s skill tests will not rank your gigs or give you more impressions or orders logically. What happens is, when a buyer comes on a seller profile, they can see that the seller is verified in their xxx skill and that should give them more confidence to place an order.

Hi Everyone, I’m excited to announce a new feature for sellers. As part of our ongoing efforts to increase overall marketplace quality, we will begin offering the opportunity to take skills tests to verify seller skills. Skills tests will not be mandatory, but are an opportunity to increase buyer trust by proving your skills in the subcategories in which you offer services. We’ve been rolling out the skills tests in the Translation subcategory over the past few weeks, but starting today, a sma…

The main factor for giving skills test are to increase buyer’s trust and they’ll trust in you with the work. I’ve a question I hope you’ll give it. I’m a new seller and I’ve passed 5 tests on Fiverr. I’ve mentioned tests name with score and top %:
Fiverr English Test 8/10 Passed
Virtual Assistant 7.7/10 Top 20% Passed
Social Media Marketing 9/10 Top 10%
Customer Service 7.2/10 Passed
English Language 8.2/10 Top 20%

My question is that How will I prove that I’ve skills without work? I’ve created 3 gigs today and is those are good scores to get order early or not?

Thanks for your valuable suggestion & brief description. I have already given my skill test last 2 to 3 days ago & have also secured good marks. But is seems it does not have any effect/impact on GIG’s ranking. Thanks once again.

Thanks Mr. Rabiul for your response. I have the same question like you. But to me, I think any kind of exams/test will obviously has some affect/impact on your life; over here the client will trust you about your skills but no impact on GIG’s ranking.

As a part of Fiverr ongoing efforts to increase the overall marketplace quality, Fiverr provides sellers with the opportunity to take skill tests in order to verify their listed skills. As a seller, by taking skill tests, you increase buyer trust as a result of verifying your skills.

If you want to post a piece of content from Fiverr Help and Education, please highlight that. Copy/Paste without the credit is plagiarism.

If it is important to one buyer, it is important to you?

Though it also might put some buyers off depending on the score that was displayed (eg. is a score of 6 high enough or 7?).

Some sellers might do better without showing the test and the score, by letting their reviews help the buyers decide to order.

It's not mandatory but If you are a seller then you should take this skill test because it helps increase buyer trust as a result of verifying your skills. but if you don't take this skill test it never affects your account or gig ranking. I hope you understand
