innovativebob
Why do buyers constantly ask sellers to "attach" a sample in buyer requests?..... when it is not possible for a seller to attach any samples there? Am I missing something?.... or am I correct in assuming that it is not possible for a seller to attach files in buyer requests? Please advise as to the best way to deal with a buyer that is asking for attached samples. I suppose it is possible to direct them to a file on another server, but I'm always seeing buyers that ask for "attached" samples.

What should be done in such a situation?
mdsojib276
Based on this attachment, the client makes an estimate of whether you can actually do his job properly. This attachment is a means of proving the work done to the buyer.

visualstudios
Because people posting buyer requests are clueless. Don't waste your time there. That's not the type of client you want. Bottom of the barrel stuff.

kreativzak
Since it is not possible to attach files in the Buyer's Request section, so you can tell the buyer about this (most likely sh/e is new on Fiverr) and give your link to your SAMPLE work. You can use flickr.com or other links which ever is appropriate and allowed on Fiverr. I hope this helps. Just give him your portfolio link. They ask for samples to assess your quality of work and if you are fit to work on his project.

You can always encourage them to contact you for a sample if you want. Alternatively, you can redirect them somewhere as you mentioned or to your portfolio. rocks_design
You are not able to attached files while apply for buyer requestes. But as above mentioned there are some special webs to use showcase your past work. However, don't use any other webs(own or third party) or links to share your work. It's totally violates terms of Fiverr. 49 minutes ago, theratypist said: You can always encourage them to contact you for a sample if you want.
