aamirrao28 Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Hi, Hope you are doing great, 15 days ago my account was restricted, So 5 days ago I asked to the fiverr team to close my fiverr account. There was sunday when they asked me about the confirmation.I send a confirmation message for account deactivation ,but there is no reply till now today is Tuesday. I have attached file you can see there, I have created a new ticket because they not replying on previous ticket ,they are showing status solved with out deactivating my account and refer me on old ticket from where they are not replying Is there any solution ? What I am reading into this here, is he thinks by asking customer support to deactivate his account, that he will have access to his funds before the typical 90 day period while the account is either deemed banned or can resume. My guess is, this one will just be off to make a new account in no time. And, probably break the same rules that got them in hot water to begin with. They told me that they cannot close the accounts, this must be done by the user. But since I couldn't enter because it asked me for the code of a cell phone that I no longer had, they gave me a link to my email so that I could change the password. And only then could I enter and close it. GG Surely something of this happens that you say but it is not understood what he really wants to do. But Fiverr will not close his account unless for a valid reason and he will have to close it. His account was restricted - and likely because he broke some rule. So, it isn't something that can be bypassed or fixed like you had done. You apparently did not break a rule - you just couldn't access your account due to another issue out of your control. Totally different scenarios. GG Yes, my situation is that that account was very old and I could no longer access because my mobile had been stolen years ago but what I was trying to tell you is that despite there being nothing strange they informed me that they could not close the accounts, that only the user could do it. In other words, if they don't do it out of silly things, imagine if it's something serious. Also, that they close your ticket without answering is not a good sign, they have always been very kind to me in the support, they have never done something like that to me. This is why their account is restricted and they cannot close it. They have to wait out the 90 days to get access to either: their account again; their money in their account or the answer that they broke some rule that forfeited it all. visualstudios Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Meh. If somebody wants to deactivate an account, it should be allowed, immediately, on any platform. I don't see why everyone is attacking him. I open an account, I have the right to close it. I deactivated my account then fiverr deleted it. A few days later this girl named Anastasia says they reactivated my account so they could make sure a message was deleted. I asked her to just delete my account. I go on fiverr to deactivate it again and it is not allowing me to do so. It’s super annoying.
