Share gig: sharing your gig in LinkedIn and Twitter may convert into client. but never share into fiverr exchange group.

Rank Your Gig: Ranking gigs are the most powerful point to get an order

Give Buyer Request: You'll send request to buyer and if they like they may give you the order in fact, if your gig isn't ranked

On Fiverr, sellers don't really hunt for orders (except on the Buyer Requests page which usually results in working on huge scale orders for minimal pay) and primarily receive orders from interested buyers.

How to get orders? That's the billion dollar question that is one of, if not the most common question asked on the forum.

There's no surefire method or "formula" to receive orders, but here are some general tips:

1. The service you offer should be something you are really good at. So much so that a complete stranger from across the world would be willing to pay money for you to utilize your skills/abilities on their project.

2. Set goals, but be grounded in reality with expectations. The old saying, "You miss 100% of the shots you never take" is true, but expecting to hit the moon right out of the gate when starting on the platform will only result in discouragement. Fiverr is not quick easy money. It takes planning, time, effort, and yes, some luck to establish a foothold on the site.

3. Be genuine in your profile, gigs, and what you can actually deliver. Gig copycats and charlatans who promise the world but can't even type a single grammatically correct sentence are abound on the site and just bring harm to the entire platform and every other seller on it.

how can i find a new order

By offering something that someone needs (preferably something that's not already offered by tens of thousands of others), and by finding a way to stand out among all the competitors.

If you invite buyers to look at your portfolio, it's better to have a portfolio worth looking at.

If you charge $5 to remove background of one photo, and someone else offers to remove background of 15 photos for the same price (plus has 5,000+ reviews), your portfolio better be impressive enough to justify the price.

You may need an order, but what are you doing to get orders?

Buyer's Requests is how many newbies do try to find clients, but, it can be a cesspool.

Like mentioned before, if you are offering a service here that thousands of others already do, you will probably be waiting for a very long time for an order.

@abuhasan03 welcome to fiverr,

How to get new or first order? Am i right, i want to tell you that in freelancing Patience is must because without Patience you can't successs in life. I am also going in this road(Patience) so, in first you need the Patience and secondly you have to active at least 12-16hrs in a day, it will be good or better if you give much time you can, if you give much time then i can say you will get the result that you deserve. And mostly the final thing is, you have to fullfill 10 buyer request in everyday, In my suggestion in fiverr rules or you can say the task of fiverr say that in 60 day you have to spend time to fullfill the task and it is good, if you spend much time in 60 day specially and fill up the 10 buyer request regularly then i 100% sure you will archive the first or new order. So, give much time you can and keep Patience because it is must.

Have a Good Day my friend !

I see a lot of people here (mostly new to the site) claiming that if one just waits, that somehow this is going to generate success here. Sorry to burst the bubble, but, sitting around and hoping that you will get an order is not a business plan. Some are here putting Gigs in categories that have way too many sellers, and often, the people putting up those Gigs are not really experts in those fields - they are just choosing the category the YouTube guru or blogger told them that was the road to go as it is paved with gold!

While I know what your "argument" is going to be to back up the "be online 12 to 16 hours a day" is, that is also not how you get orders or traction here. Sure, there may be categories or buyers here who want a seller who is willing to jump at the slightest thing to appease them. Those can be the most nightmarish of buyers - they could care less if you need time to do their complicated work, or if you have a family issue or this or that. They just want their thing and you better deliver it within hours since you are sitting there online anyways, right? While it may make sense that if you are online and get a message it looks nice to the potential buyer that you are there to answer, but, this is also not a necessity in order to garner orders.

What happens here is most come here, put up a Gig or a few of them and have no business plan regarding how they are going to be successful. Did they do their homework before putting up that Gig? Is there an overwhelming need for what you do? Are there thousands of others in the same category with little to no reviews, showing that the buyer pool is pretty dried up? Think of Fiverr as a mall and you rent a space in that mall to sell your stuff. If you have ever been to a shop in the mall, what is the first thing that attracts you to perhaps go in and see what they have? The windows and what is in them! The "windows" on Fiverr are your Gig description, title and tags as well as examples or portfolio. If you have a bland, boring or the same "window" as everyone else in your category, you can expect that the foot traffic is going to walk past your store. So many listings in certain categories look the same as do their descriptions. I cannot tell you how many write something like, "Are you having trouble finding the right Facebook Ads manager? Look no more, I am here!" (something like that) Sorry, but, if your listing sounds like every other seller in your niche wrote it, it will not stand out.
