I’m not sure what the “correct” rate to sell photo retouching services is, but I did see that you’re selling 1 image per $5 for a basic touch up. Other sellers in your category offer anywhere from 5 - 30 images for the same price, with detailed removal.

I’m not saying that’s fair, and you should charge what you think it’s worth for your time. But as a new seller I think you’re probably unlikely to compete with established sellers with cheaper gigs.

You can add video, PDF and 3 images to each Gig. I think you should take advantage of these.

Apologies for seeming nit-picky, but the “perfect” gig does not exist. Perfection is a concept that dwells within our heads, but not a reality that can actually be achieved. And besides, if someone did create the perfect gig, then they would never need to modify or update it because…well, it’s perfect! 🏆

And besides, if someone did create the perfect gig, then they would never need to modify or update it because…well, it’s perfect! 🏆

I think your text is good and your images look fine for showcasing the smaller details. I’d work on having a better first thumbnail image or video though which looks good at a small size. It’s the first thing a buyer is going to see after all! 😊

One thing that may be a bit confusing is that in both gigs the name of the standard package is Premium so the buyer might ask about the Premium package and it might not be clear if they are talking about Fiverr’s name for it which shows above the gig title (ie. your Pro package) or what you’ve called the standard package.

Maybe take “24/7 Available” out of the “I will remove background…” gig because no one person is really available that often and I don’t think saying that helps with orders.

Maybe/sort of but you could have the “best possible” gig (within specified parameters).

Yes but you could have software that achieves a particular goal in absolutely the best way. eg. lets say there’s software that can win a game 100% of the time, maybe instantly. It’s playing the game in a (mathematically?) perfect way.

Maybe the goal for a gig could be to earn the most for a particular seller in a particular amount of time.

And besides, if someone did create the perfect gig, then they would never need to modify or update it because…well, it’s perfect!

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case as the perfect gig to earn the most in eg. 2017 isn’t necessrily the perfect gig for 2021 due to increased competition in different subcategories, changing buyer preferences etc. Maybe the perfect gig/best gig would be a good idea for a thread of it’s own.

I see the disconnect here.

I perceive the “perfect gig” in terms of structure, appearance, wording, tags, title, video, pricing, FAQ, etc, and am not lynch-pinning it to the maximum income possible to be accrued.

If by “perfect” you mean “most lucrative and successful gig to have at any given specific period of time,” then that is a very very different definition of “perfect” than what I was referring to, and there likely actually is/was the “perfect gig” for the given time.

I think we’ve derailed this thread a bit! 💥
