I am fairly new, but I have made a few sales. I love it here on Fiverr. I listened to a few YouTube videos about Fiverr and took their advice. If you need me to answer any questions for you, please message me (I’m friendly and honest).

Hey could I ask what are the main pieces of advice that you took from the youtube videos? So that I could also make my first order. Many thanks!

The best advice is to always log into your Fiverr site. Make this a daily routine for a few hours of the day. Visit the Fiverr Forum and browse around the different topics and make an input here and there. Also, make sure you check out the Buyers Request throughout the day and send an offer to them. This is how you will get your first orders!

I agree with the first point, although it does not need to be for a few hours if you have a phone app and carry your phone around with you.

I also agree about the Buyer Request advice.

Visit the Fiverr Forum and make an input here and there.

However, did the YouTube video say why the above is supposed to help you grow on Fiverr?

If that is the only thing you wish to achieve by using the forum, then please just save yourself the trouble and stop posting. It is not going to work.

There are very few buyers here, and the forum runs on a different platform than the Fiverr marketplace. What you do here will NOT impact your placement or your performance on Fiverr itself.

If you come here to search for tips to improve your gig, that is just fine. Please use the search function first to make it easier for yourself. However, po…

Fiverr is contactly monitoring who is checking in and getting involved with the site. This shows you are dedicated and eager to work. Fiverr Phone Apps are great! You still must show signs of community involvement, answer any messages you may get and send offers for Buyer Requests. If you do all these things, then you will surely start getting orders.

So true! Posting on the forum is not to get orders. I personally post to inform and help others here on Fiverr. So, if you have any questions, please let me know. I’m happy to help. 😁

There are sellers here who hang out on the Fiverr Forum comment all of the time. Yet, I have noticed they are sad not to have orders. That is because your gig images, description, and profile are much more important than posting on the Forum.

There are many more things to do to get orders. Saying if you comment on the Forum you will “surely start getting orders.” is not correct.

You would be better off following these tips from other sellers.

Here are some tips put together by other sellers. Do not stay online, 24/7. It would be best if you had your sleep to be productive. Do not post your gigs all over social media. It is SPAM, and besides, your friends and relatives are not your target buyers. Use Buyer Requests ONLY if you can do a great job fulfilling the buyer’s requirements. When making offers on Buyer Requests do not use copied and pasted offers. Each Buyer Request is unique and needs a different answer. Make su…

I’m glad you’ve done your research! However, I would be careful about following advice from some YouTube videos, because there’s lots of YouTube “gurus” who spreading false info/advice.

There are many factors involved in getting orders on Fiverr. Hopefully, everyone who wants to sell on Fiverr knows to have a nice profile page and good description. It is always best to research (like YouTube videos or Google) to find more information on what you’re interested in, such as Fiverr. There is lots of helpful information to grow your business on Fiverr, if you take the time to learn. Not to mention, the Fiverr forum has updated information and active sellers who can guide you along the way. If you have any questions, please reach out and ask.

I got ALL of the info I needed to get the TRS badge from reading threads on this Forum. I am sure Fiverr likes us to be active here but I am pretty sure it does not get us orders.

One of the most active members of the Fiverr Forum for years is still a level one seller.

I listened to a few YouTube videos about Fiverr

Here are some good videos to watch. They were made by a Fiverr Mod.

So many newbies are being taken advantage of here on Fiverr by a small minority of predatory “buyers”. This is my take on how to protect yourself, thereby reducing the chances of a cancellation or negative review.
Special shout out to @melissaharlowvo for the buyer requirements section. Enjoy!
Making money on Fiverr is becoming more difficult these days, with so many new people joining up hoping to earn money on Fiverr quickly. Here are my thoughts on this - and, yes, it involves some work and thought before publishing a gig!
People keep repeating the same wrong advice - and newbies are deceived by it. Here’s my take on it - share if you feel so inclined:
