Is it possible to block a artist when they already blocked you?

i recently got blocked out of nowhere after giving advice to an artist because they had very little to no communication with me at all during commissioning process and also made many mistakes too. and i was wondering if i am able to block them as well because they’ve sent me a very passive aggressive message and then blocked me again.

Hi. I doubt they’ll message you again, but it’s an interesting question, technically.
Check if you can use the block option on either the seller’s messages or profile, on desktop or app, or if it’s greyed out/unclickable.

it’s quite weird because i found out i had them blocked and they still managed to message me (,: that made me really anxious. not quite sure why Fiverr allows sellers to do that…

Why would Fiverr allow that? They are the ones providing the block option. I use it all the time for spammers, and it always seems to work, but sometimes, they manage to send another message before the block takes effect.
It could be a bug, you can let Fiverr know that blocking didn’t work for you by submitting a ticket (via the “Help&Support” link in the footer).

But I really don’t think that you need to be anxious. Maybe the seller couldn’t keep themselves in check to not react that way to you giving them advice, but if they just were passive-aggressive, that was it most probably. If they did more then that, they’d take the risk of being reported for, after all.

If they made mistakes, the standard procedure would be to press the modification button instead of completing the order, and to ask them to revise their work by pointing out the mistakes/changes you want.

After order completion, you are free to rate the order and your experience with the seller accordingly, including communication, if you found it lacking.

I think this may have already happened where the OP had a recent order and gave a negative review with accompanying reasons.

Yeah, i’ve read online that a lot of people had the same issue as me and it’s quite messed up to say the least.

as for them leaving the passive aggressive reply, i believe it’s because of my advice and the review i left. i was just being honest saying that they never communicated and messed up more than once (yes they still messed up even after i allowed them to revision my commission…) and then they called me a “profectionalist” even after i gave them so many details, circled the things that need to be added, gave them hex codes and pictures even and they still managed to mess up…like yeah, you would think that after i bought from you i would get what i payed for but i didn’t even get that lol and i’ve read their reviews afterwards too and noticed that they make the buyers out to be the people that messed up? idk but this seller is kinda something else.

When a user blocked another user, both users will not be able to contact one another. so theoretically, If someone blocked you, there is no need you blocking them again unless that user unblocks you and start interacting with you again.
