Charging Buyer for Extra Work but Earn Only the Tip

A client placed an order for $150.

I made a request in the resolution center that the buyer needs to add additional $40 to the order, because after he placed an order, he requested more work than what we discussed. The

He accepted my request.

After the order was complete, it says that “You have earned $40”. I think it should say that “You have earned $190”.

Did someone have this issue? And is it possible that I have not earned the full amount and I have earned only the tip?

Thanks in advance.

I have made that to only 2 of my orders and on both of them it says that I have earned only the tip.

When I go to the earnings tab, I see both prices in “Order Revenue”. But, when I open both of them, it goes to the same order page where it says “You have earned $40”. So, that’s just the tip.

What amount do you see in the “Pending Clearance” on the earnings page?

I really think they are listed separately. Also you wouldn’t have received a “You have earned $40” because that portion should reflect the amount you get after the 20% cut. So technically what should show up is “You have earned $120” from the $150… and $32 from the $40 add-on…

Nowhere would it say you have earned $40… Maybe you are referring to a different order.

If you could show a screenshot (blur out any details of buyer and any confidential details) then maybe we can understand your situation better…

Here are the correct amounts. In pending clearance, everything looks good, but when I click "view order, I am redirected to the same order and it says “Order completed. You have earned $32”. And it should be $212.

Oh I see I think so long as your pending clearance shows up right that would be fine, you can also check your “expected earnings” on the top right of the earnings page and see if all your pending clearance total out properly. You can also ask Customer Support to look into it if you want to be sure.

Yep. That’s a bug. Don’t worry about it. What you see in “pending clearance” is what you’ll receive. What you see on top of the order page doesn’t really matter. Once the amount is “cleared”, you’ll receive $212.
