How to remain competitive here?

You will need to understand the market you’re in. What are the common gigs being sold under your skillset. I assume you are in the arts or creative side considering your gigs. Study competition and the competitors who offer gigs like yours. Do they have a lot of customers? Is this an offering people are looking for when they go on Fiverr, etc…

Here’s something I like to do…

Every six months or so I will take a hard look at my Gigs.

If any are not performing well…I delete them.

Sometimes I replace those with new Gigs, sometimes not.

I also go over my Gig descriptions and tweak or rewrite them to make them fresh.

I also change my Gig photos to keep them from becoming tired and boring.

I like to think that by changing things up on my Gigs/Profile with regularity, it keeps me relevant.

Thanks @looseink, it’s good to know there is no harm in rewriting Gig title and description, to inject life into them and “make them fresh” as you said.

I have been considering editing my Gig title and description to add more keywords, I also want to outrightly change my Gig picture.

I think I should just go ahead but will it not affect the impressions I’m getting now which increased in the last 5days?

Yes, for only for a short period.

I’d rather lose impressions while waiting for a “new look” Gig to surface than have regular impressions on a Gig that isn’t bringing me work.

Thanks for this info! Do you ever change your gig title description? I find tweaking gig description, photos, video, etc. every few months actually increases my impressions (and usually I don’t have to wait a few days either), however I’ve never changed my gig title. My keyword is in the URL, however I know my title could be better now I’ve been on the service a few years. I’m afraid this will cause confusion with the algorithm (I don’t think buyers would notice)
