Withdraw Partial Fiverr Funds

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. Hi Fiverr staff.

This is a highly requested matter. A similar post like this has been posted quite a while back but it has been thrown aside with just a few comments.

As a seller, it would be helpful to have the option of partial withdrawal from fiverr to any account one may have because not all of us have the option of using a credit card or bank account to conduct business on fiverr due to various company and or country policies.

Please Fiverr, I am begging not only for myself but for others like myself to provide us with the option to withdraw partial funds to our account (payoneer, PayPal, etc) and leave a balance for spending on Fiverr also with the option to withdraw again if we so desire.

I would love to see this as part of the recent changes made to Fiverr.

Thank you.

Guys what do you say? Do you agree with a partial withdrawal of Fiverr funds? The more comments to this thread could mean getting the proper attention of Fiverr on this topic.

I asked CS around a year ago and they said they weren’t planning to even start to work in that direction.

I would love them to implement something like this, though. At least, split the amount into parts of $500 and/or $1000 so there is a bit more flexibility. $100 to $5000 is a giant leap.

Great idea Kerri,

I have thought that it would be great if fiver implemented that

Hi Uzo. Yes I think if we have many more persons speaking up loudly to this Fiverr might make the extra effort to implement it or maybe even surprise us. It would be nice though.

Exactly, I agree with you. They could allow us to take just a portion not a whole lump sum. I think it would make business a little more fluid and less stressful with all the other things we as sellers have to deal with.

According to this help document you can make one withdrawal every 24 hours.

You can also check your earnings page to see when your funds are going to clear. Why not just plan around how much you can/will draw and withdraw as the funds clear?

Granted that it’s not as flexible as just doing a partial withdrawal as needed, but on the flipside, reading all the stories of people’s accounts being locked when a buyer falsely accuses sellers, I wouldn’t leave more money in Fiverr’s pockets than I am willing to lose.

Exactly. It’s really not a problem to take it all out. This is a non-issue.

I need this too. All sellers does. It’s a basic function to add.

Withdrawing all funds means: I make unnecessary actions, I pay more commissions on transfers.

Fiverr? Please reply.

Welcome to the Fiverr Community and thank you for replying to this thread.

Hi. Yes, you raised a very good point as well. That is a major concern for all, but still, for example, if someone has 10,000 built up in their Fiverr account, you are allowed to withdraw up to 5,000 for the day and anything could happen to your remaining balance of 5,000 within that day, (such as what you mentioned) so really, we would still need the option to withdraw partial or whole funds regardless.

I’m new to Fiverr and I’m about to do my first withdrawal and was hoping to release a partial amount of funds across Payoneer and Paypal - to my local bank to determine which one is a better fit for me. From there decide how I wanted to mange the rest of my money.

I was so confused and thought I was being technologically impaired because it wasn’t letting me edit the amount…

Google lead me here! (Edvard Munch face) I’m actually shocked this isn’t an option already as it seems so archaic and bizarre that you have to release everything at once.

  • Why does Fiverr want me to withdraw all my money when they can be earning interest on my money?
  • Having less money in my Fiverr account makes me less likely to spend, I just don’t get it?

I’m so frustrated, what an unnecessary inconvenience!!!

(this is me signing my name on an invisible petition to action this feature development)

PLEASE.

Hi. I’m sorry, I understand your frustration. It can be especially frustrating when you dont have a lot of orders coming in so at least, the whole amount that you withdraw will be replaced with funds that have not cleared yet. So, the partial withdrawal would be a nice feature. One thing though, I believe nothing on here is invisible because in one way or the other Fiverr does monitor its platforms. So you just never know what can result from this.

totally agree with you !

We need fiverr to give us an option to withdraw some of the money.

For example, if you have 1000 in FIVERR, it would be great to be able to withdraw 200 and leave $ 800 on the platform and then continue to withdraw.

we will always pay the commissions of the platform! 🙂

I agree with the partial withdrawal! I just found out that I don’t have a way to do this. As mentioned in another comment, I just set up my bank account and want to withdraw a small amount to check if everything is ok, and cannot do it. Furthermore, I will have to use some money to pay for services on Fiverr and will not be able to do it if all may earnings are withdrawn. I don’t know why this isn’t an option… 😦
