How did you get your first Fiverr client?

I’m pretty new on Fiverr and I’m trying to find clients on my gig "Graphics Design."

Can someone advise me, how did you find your first client on Fiverr?

Your tips and advice would be appreciated. 🙂

I got my first client from someone I met on social media that wanted me to do some work for them. They told me about Fiverr and asked if I would be willing to sign up and do the job. I said fine, signed up, completed the gig, then eventually ventured out to others skill sets. I no longer offer the gig he hired me for.

Your questions are kind of personal and do not provide any type of value to the conversation. I charged our agreed upon price and got paid through the Fiverr platform like everyone else.

Well it’s ok if you’re not comfortable sharing that info. I’m just curious since this is my first time doing project based work. I used to be a VA and worked hourly rates.

That’s what I’m trying to do for the past couple of days but got no luck at the moment.

Can I ask, which groups are you promoting for your Fiverr gigs?

I’ve tried to search Fiverr gigs on Facebook but it’s only crowded with Fiverr sellers so I don’t think it can help me find the right client to work with.

Aside from reading on forums, I also do my own research on Google as well.

I was a VA and I work an hourly rate, it’s my first time though to do project-based so I’m excited about this new venture.

You just have to read the request carefully and answer with your timeframe and budget, first understand what the buyer actually wants, if you are able to do it, you make a request. Don’t copy paste a Template, response accurately to the buyer request. You will get it, slowly but surely you will get order.
