Can you help me with buyer requests?

I simply don’t understand buyer requests at all, not what they do, what they’re for, how you get one, how to write one, or how they can help you get orders.

So, I was hoping someone could perhaps explain them to me? I have already published my first gig. It is not doing great, but I kind of expected that since I do not have any experience in freelancing.

Any kind of tips are welcome , really, not only about buyer requests

Let’s say you are a buyer. You have a job you need to be done, but you can’t find an appropriate gig, or you just don’t want to seek through the site. So you (a buyer) just share your job details in the BR section and wait for freelancers to come to you with their offers. Then you select one of them who you believe is capable to handle your job.

So as a freelancer, you have an opportunity to get a job not by selling your gigs, but by applying for those requests, if the buyer decide to choose you for their job.
