Gig dropdown misspelling!

Recommended Posts

Hi, saxophone is misspelled in the instrument dropdown menu. This is embarrassing to me as a pro saxophone player to have saxophone misspelled on my gig page. I have found no other way to contact fiver specifically for this and so am posting here.
Thank you for your attention,
regards,
Arthur Trinchera

Thank you @frank_d and @fvrmusic for getting this fixed so fast!

I realize this isn’t as quick a fix as a typo, but if @frank_d or @fvrrmusic happen to know anyone they could get interested in nudging the relevant people to find a way to allow for capitalization of languages and countries in Gig titles, I assure anyone involved of the neverending gratitude of the Writing & Translation sellers, “english”, etc., is rather embarrassing too 😅

I imagine it’s due to Fiverr not wanting ALL-CAPS or tOo-CoOL-fOR-ScHoOl Gig titles, but perhaps there’s a way for a coder to whitelist the first letter of languages and countries somehow? 🙂

The only ones they seem to allow for capitalization in gig titles now are “USA”, “US” and “UK”. There are still some gigs probably created years ago with capitalization for other countries - I assume those gigs were created before the change to disallow it. They also currently allow things like “SEO”, “PDF”, “HQ”, “DIY” to be capitalized.

I agree it would look a lot more correct for the proper capitalization of countries. Maybe of words like “English” too.
