How many times promote my gig on "my Fiverr gig's category" daily?

Recommended Posts

Promoting your gig on the forum does nothing.

It is a place to seek and give advice, share your experience, etc.

Focus on improving your gig pictures and content.

I just checked your profile. I would strongly recommend removing ‘PM me to get your free sample’. You don’t want to go there shudders

share your gig on social media…

Isn’t that a vastly open-ended advice to someone new to fiverr. People randomly begin sharing links to their gigs out of context.

It even happens on Fiverr’s Facebook page:

Fiverr posts: Fiverr is revamping its website

Comments: I will dance with a chicken for $5

Social media promotion is strategic. There is a recent post that highlights this aspect really well (I will share in a while if I find it)

My excuses. What are the social networks on which we have to share concerts and find clients.

From my limited research, I would think LinkedIn and Quora are good platforms.

Participating in relevant forums/threads, your work experience with work portfolios attached in the sections, applying to vacancies where your gig could be fit.

For example, the other day I saw a job posting where the company was looking for remote writers and I applied sharing my gig. It could be that they would not want to spend the extra $$ fiverr fee, etc.

I am sure someone more experienced will have more tips to share.

You don’t need to promote here. You can promote in social site and spend tine in fiverr froum to get more impressions and clicks. If your gig is increase impressions and clicks then you can get order.

Thank you

That is incorrect advice.

@bintzia How many times a day that I promote Quora and Linkedin platforms? And how many times a day that I build my gig link on these platforms?

Ramicha, it is not a set number of times. I would advice you to spend time on the forums (reading), going through tips and tricks.

Currently, Chrome keeps hanging on my mobile and I am unable to type an extensive reply. I’ll share relevant posts later on.

Please remind, I am forgetful 👀

Why do new Sellers think that posting ANYTHING on the Forum helps their Gig performance?

The two are NOT connected at all.

Plus, posting the same thing repeatedly may be considered SPAMMING the Forum.

It’s cultural. As much as a lot of internet users on the sub-continental part of the 🌍 are aware of forums, majority are not. I do not say this in condescension, rather as a fact.

Those who never participated in forums never saw the need, until now. So everyone is learning. The veterans or forum-savvy users need to be a little more patient with everyone.

Not reading the ToS also comes under the same concept :man_facepalming:t6:

That would also explain why so many new Sellers on Fiverr are so worried about Gig “ranking” as if this was Google, which it is not.

Reading the Fiverr ToS should clear that up as it clearly states “Gig position is not permanent” yet new Sellers refuse to understand that and keep going on with Fiverr Page One as their goal.

Kindly help, I have an active gig in my profile. If I promote this gig on Fiverr forum, then How many times promote my gig on “My Fiverr gig’s category” daily? Can I promote my gig daily on “My Fiverr gig’s category”?

If I promote this gig on Fiverr forum, then How many times promote my gig on “My Fiverr gig’s category” daily?

I have the “My Fiverr Gigs” category blocked as do most people here. We get tired of seeing the promotions. 🥱

I don’t block any forum category, since there is always the offshoot chance of a nice conversation or compelling train wreck of a thread coming from an unlikely place.

And also because people post in the wrong forum subsections all the darn time.

I used to not block “Improve My Gig” and “My Fiverr Gigs,” but then I got tired of wading through all of them so now they are blocked. If I want to peek at them I will.
