How is a thread considered repetitive in the forum?

How is a thread considered repetitive here. I am asking this as a new user who just started.

In the improve my gig category if I post two different threads for two separate gigs is it considered spam?

It’s disheartening to get comments from seniors about posting to get clicks in the improve my gig category. I can speak for myself only—I’m pretty clear posting gigs here won’t get me any orders.

And you’d be correct.

If that is the only thing you wish to achieve by using the forum, then please just save yourself the trouble and stop posting. It is not going to work. There are very few buyers here, and the forum runs on a different platform than the Fiverr marketplace. What you do here will NOT impact your placement or your performance on Fiverr itself. If you come here to search for tips to improve your gig, that is just fine. Please use the search function first to make it easier for yourself. However, po…

Wherever this ‘advice’ is from, it’s cause to doubt EVERYTHING from that place.

Also, it’s against the Community Standards & Forum Rules - 2020 to create duplicate threads. One gig per thread is… it’s not unreasonable, but it is somewhat redundant if those gigs are very similar.

Sorry, I didn’t get what you mean. So, we can’t post about two separate gigs on two threads in Improve my gig category. I’m specifically talking about “Improve my gig” category not spamming all over with gig links.

If you post something in the Improve My Gig category, why not include links to BOTH Gigs in the same SINGLE post?

That would solve the issue of multiple posts and get you what you are looking for.

Simple.

My recommendation is not to post threads more than once in a week. You can simply add multiple gig links on the same post.

Thanks a lot for the recommendation. Can we add links to a past thread? I am asking this because the new gig was created today. So, I have to go back and add the new gig to my past thread considering the post is a weak apart?

Once a week? 😯

There’s pleeeenty of new forum users who go well above and beyond that.

@enunciator It’s a recommendation. Many threads don’t get enough attention, in this case, we don’t really like to agree with the flags as being “Repeat”.

@afarigh better not to retrieve old post, wait a week, see how you got a response to your old thread, if you find that your post didn’t get enough attention or not many helpful suggestions, you may re-post your queries.
