Why do I need to reply the spam message?

Whenever I post buyer request, there is always some “extra” sellers search my username and message me directly. And that’s very very annoying.it’s affecting my seller profile (although not that much , from 1hr to 2hrs)

And those messages will auto go to spam folder , but to my surprise, the red clock appeared and decease my response rate.

That system doesn’t work as intended, but they haven’t fixed it yet.
