Are buyer requests formatted?

I just joined Fiverr to see about outsourcing a small HTML project.

The description of the project I submitted was organized into sections, with line breaks and bullet points.

The version I see now under “Active” has all linebreaks removed; it’s just one long unreadable line. The classic “giant wall of text.”

Is that how it looks to Sellers?? If so, obviously no one can even read it to respond, so what should I have done instead? Write a brief one-line summary and attach the real description in a PDF?

Okay, I’ll stop being silly. Yes, you guessed exactly right. Keep the main request short, and put the details in a single PDF. One thing that link doesn’t share is that desktop sellers will only be able to see a single uploaded file.

Well, that’s frustrating. Fiverr’s own advice (which you linked) was to use paragraphs and bullet points. Why bother if it won’t show up?!

Guess I’ll get working on that PDF. It looks like I’ll have to cancel and repost the project as well; no editing is allowed.

Yup, only o the many bugs in the BR section alone. You put in good info in a way to make it readable and Fiverr, turn it into
