I just created this gig, and the very next day I received this text.

We are a software house who builds web-based SaaS ecosystems for corporate and government clients. Our flagship product consists of the following modules; Sales Force Automation, Supply Chain Mgmt, Inventory & Stock Control, Point-of-Sales, Warehouse Mgmt, Fuel Mgmt, ECommerce, etc. Currently we are expanding into industrial and manufacturing sector and require new talents to spear head our new modules.

We need strong technologists in Laravel/PHP, Bootstrap/jQuery and MariaDB, running on Linux.

We require dedicated developers in industrial automation and who are skilled in Laravel backend controllers. Are you interested?

I am sure whether it’s a spam or not. The person does not mention any specific name of his or his company. Also, I have never received any order on fiverr so I am not sure about it.

Contact them and ask if they have a specific project in mind and if you would like them to make a custom offer for them, then see where it goes. It’s not necessarily spam. If you get messages like this also asking you to contact them outside of the platform or send them work samples so they can add you to their work directory, then you want to leave it well alone.

Don’t provide any personal information here.

Just have a communication with the client using Fiverr chat, if you give him your personal number that would violate Fiverr ToS

Sharing personal contact information is a violation of Fiverr’s Terms of Service, and you could get permanently banned for that.

Yes. That makes you vulnerable to a lot of scams.

I’ve never experienced this before so I was a bit confused but will keep this in mind in the future
