ramesh_samane
Got a warning from Fiverr not to accept homework assignments. I 100% agree with them but I can see most of the VIDs are students, and I guess if Fiverr blocks all of them then it will impact Fiverr’s business to some extent, if not greatly. Since I got the notice, I blocked/reported a few of them but could see they are still on the platform, so I can conclude it’s of no use to report them, although blocking them may benefit sellers as Fiverr can’t claim you’re doing homework assignments.I am wondering if Fiverr sends such a warning to such buyers as well.
looseink
If I were you, I would just concentrate on doing your own thing and not worrying about what other Sellers are up to.Fiverr gave you a warning.Use that as your incentive to build your freelance business within the framework of the Fiverr ToS.The others don’t matter to what you are doing.Good luck.

ramesh_samane
Again…I wouldn’t worry about who gets a warning and who doesn’t.You got one.Now you have to abide.Good luck.Fair enough. Nobody wants to kill the hen laying the golden eggs. I will just block them and get them out of my sight. It’s not my own platform so I just don’t have to bother about what they are doing. They can do whatever they think is ethical and is legal.

I keep blocking them with a fear that if they send me unwanted orders, I will be in a trouble. I have seen such things happening, from what I read on the forum.I am not sure if I have to block them to avoid any issues with my account or just tell them I don’t work on homework assignments. Although this sounds like a good practice as I might get some commercial assignments from them in future. But I can’t take the risk and have block them.Even if I mention this homework thing in my gig description, I am sure it will be ignored by some of them and I will get such unwanted orders. This “unwanted orders” happened to me many times in the past even though I strictly mention not to place orders without my consent.

Many don’t read the gig description. This “unwanted orders” happened to me many times in the past even though I strictly mention not to place orders without my consent.Fiverr is designed with the idea that buyers can place orders without contacting sellers first. You may put in your gig description that buyers shouldn’t place orders without talking to you first, but they’re still not obliged to contact you.

I already understood that homeworks assignmesnt should be ordered from https://studyhippo.com/ or some special platforms Since I got the notice, I blocked/reported a few of them but could see they are still on the platform, so I can conclude it’s of no use to report them, although blocking them may benefit sellers as Fiverr can’t claim you’re doing homework assignments.
