Can buyer sue me out of fiverr?

Hi, one of my client from USA book order 1 month before and asked for few things to upload on app stores, accounts activation take alot time but client want to make it done as soon as possible it was 4th order with same client last 3 orders was successfull now i want to cancel this project(even this project is approved already). but client want to cancel all orders i contact with CS they said if clients is not happy he can cancel all previous orders also, now client is threating me that i will sue you and will take legal action because of this client i already recieved one warning from fiverr, my account is useless now, if i block client can client take legal action out of fiverr?

What is the purpose of the lawsuit?

If you have determined that this Buyer is bullying you, share sceenshots of conversation with Fiverr CS and see what they do.

You will have to be able to back up the claim of being bullied.

As for the Buyer suing you…I find that highly unlikely but I would still treat the threat as a threat with Fiverr CS.

People sue people all the live-long day, and there are people who make their entire living via suing people/businesses.

The fact of the matter is, people don’t need a good or even valid reason to initiate a lawsuit (if they’ve got enough money to cough up for legal fees and don’t care if the lawsuit is eventually tossed out) and frivolous or vindictive lawsuits are all too common. Of course, the threat of a potential lawsuit is tossed around willy-nilly to browbeat people into submission, and trying to sue someone from an entirely different country is an entirely different situation altogether what with issues of jurisdiction, logistics, price, differing legal standards, etc.

I’m more curious however, with why you received a warning from Fiverr in regards to this particular buyer?

What kind of illegal activities you have been doing to be scared like this?

He can’t do anything, he can try suing you that will cost him more than 2500$.

Why would you get warning if he sent you his number, unless you actually accepted to communicate outside the platform?

And what is with you sharing the email and password for accounts in your portfolio for delivered orders?

How can the buyer cancel those order who have already completed and delivery has been accepted.

In the law if the seller completed the order according to the buyer submitted requirement, so in this condition A work which is already done by their submitted requirement can’t be cancel nor payment can be refund until their is written buyer authorized documentation.

And sharing any kind of contact details is not allowed on fiverr, You should strictly follow the rules and as he shared you should have report it first.

due to this you have a warning.

i am afraid because i have seen few things on facebook orders have been cancelled even after 6 month of approval thats why i am worried, as you know fiverr only support buyers, thats why i cant take risk should i block him?

I suggest you to ready TOS today of fiverr carefully, and line out both core points yours and buyers both and try to find out any conclusion. And you must take all screenshot and send to fiverr Support Team. I hope there is always a justice.

Orders can be canceled and money refunded forever especially if seller put unlimited revisions and money back guarantee in his images and description.

It is your duty to set up description and requirements in such way refund is not an option.

If the buyer shared contact details but you didn’t and you didn’t contact off site then contact CS and explain - they might remove the warning if they see they (Fiverr) gave it when they shouldn’t have. If that was the only reason for the warning.
