lazybot
Hi guys, as I am new to Fiverr, I am not aware of frauds. In some Facebook groups, I saw some people are selling 5-star reviews for gigs to rank them up. As I know, reviews can only be given after completing an order. So, is it possible to get fake reviews to rank the gigs up, or it is spam?
enunciator
Unfortunately, there are plenty of frauds operating on Fiverr. There are people who buy and sell whole accounts, offer services that are not allowed on the platform, and yes, have artificially inflated reviews by paying for them from these scummy groups. Buying or selling reviews is strictly prohibited and is a ban-worthy offense, but the difficulty is in accurately weeding them out.Fake reviews only serve to damage the validity of the platform, as a seller who bought 100 5 star reviews will inevitably trick a genuine buyer with their supposed track record, and will very likely disappoint on a real order.
