How much to be charge per call

One of the buyer is asking for my rate per call. Actually he owns a shopping website and he and he me to call to his customers who had placed an order in this website to conform the order. I am confused, how much should I charge per call. Actually am new and don’t know about the charges. Plze someone help me out.

Why would you need to call a customer to confirm an order when most sites just send an email with order details/confirmation. Heck, Ebay sends me an email every time I order something to let me know that the seller got the order, will be sending it soon and how long it will take. Also, once the order is shipped, I get another email saying it was shipped out and the approximate delivery date.

So, I have a feeling this “buyer” is up to something odd or they are running their business like it is 1979. 😆 Things are now automated - no need to pay someone to sit on the phone confirming orders in 2021.
