There are a few things I would change.

Do not offer Unlimited Revisions.

A Buyer can trap you in doing revisions for days, weeks, months, etc.

Do not offer 100% Customer Satisfaction.

If I don’t like your work, you will never be able to please me.

One day delivery.

That doesn’t sound like you spend much time working on a project.

It makes me think you rushed it.

What kind of quality is possible with a rush job?

And, finally, all of this for just $5!

I think you need to charge more, take more time to finish a job and try that.

I’m trying to help you here.

What you have in your Gig now sounds desperate.

Don’t sound desperate.

Sound professional.

And @benedictrm is spot on…lol

Good luck.

Boo Ya!

I saw ya comin’ Mr Ink

The bits about appearing desperate more than Professional (as in good at what you do) are completely right. I have never made anything from stooping to cheap jobs. Most of those people don’t even show their work anywhere so I did it all for nothing - literally.

Proper paying clients may be harder to come by but when they find someone who they can rely on to do good/fair work every time, they come back. $5 people do not, nor do they bring you other buyers (who don’t expect you to work for $1).

Use more keywords and try to sell what buyers could do with your images a bit more. For example write something like “I will touch up your image so it can be used on Amazon listings to be more high quality and rated on a higher page” that way the buyer is not just thinking “Hey I should buy this gig for a nice photo.” They’re thinking thoughts like “I need to buy this gig so my photo is so professional I make more money.” Think about including a little bit of logic and salesmanship, maybe even write something about how your photo retouchs are perfect for social media. Some people go looking for gigs like yours using social media keywords or words like Amazon so be concise, be selling, and use a whole bunch of keywords.

Keywords are fine, image gig and description too. The tag “high end result” should go each word separately, if it’s not, it is not going to work as a tag.

Same thing @looseink said, don’t offer 100% satisfaction guarantee nor unlimited revisions. For any gig I recommend not going above 2 revisions. If the buyers want more revisions, add extra revision as a gig extra and charge x amount of money.

I’ve done photo retouching before and I can tell you 12 hours is not enough to deliver a high end retouching. Fiverr has buyers from all around the world, with different time zones, and they can place you an order while you’re sleeping: you then will wake up with 8 hours less to deliver. The basic package should start at 2 or 3 days, other packages should have more delivery time too, even if you know you’re perfectly able to deliver earlier. You’re charging a very low price, customers can’t also expect fast work. It is unrealistic and makes customers think you may deliver unfinished or rushed work. Underpromise, overdeliver.

I see a lot of potential in you though! Keep up the good work and feel free to start a new topic or read regularly the forum if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck

spen dmore time on fiverr forrm

Why? What is your reasoning for advising this? You just joined the forum a day ago and have read all of 18 minutes of the forum, so I wonder, what extensive research have you done to prove your claim that “spending more time on the forum” will get this person impressions or clicks?

Even if I google it, on the first 3 pages there is not even one article that said being active on the forum helps. So I think only people from India got this information somewhere mysterious place. Maybe word-to-word rumors made kind of “indestructible rumor chain links” by sharing without thinking.

It is so annoying as it follows its famous predecessor:

“Always active in Fiverr”

AKA

“Active on Fiverr 24 hours”

Only if they stopped sharing things without checking facts. Maybe it’s their culture “Sharing is caring”.

Мy country too, people share things until it become truth 😛

, people share things until it become truth

Well, that sounds dangerous.

Those who post these nuggets of nonsense have no intention of doing any research to see if the claim even holds water. They are more concerned with posting something, anything, no matter how trivial, thinking it will garner them brownie points on Fiverr.

Marketing on social media and bringing your own clients help but active on forum doesn’t matter. I’m living example that doesn’t work 😛

Marketing on social media and bringing your own clients help

And only works if you have a business account or website. Promoting on your personal accounts wouldn’t help because friends and family won’t buy your services (they can help you share your gigs in their respective accounts though, and sometimes it can get to a target customer but this is also unlikely).
