Your gig category is not my area of expertise, so I can’t give you advise on that, but I suggest you change your thumbnail to something more descriptive of your gig. Using a generic picture and no text tends to not draw any attention at all. Clicks and impressions are very important for new sellers, it means clients are interested. A buyer is not going to click in a gig with a generic picture, specially if you don’t have any review yet. Use a stock image allowed for commercial use that is descriptive of your services, and add a text describing what you offer. Keep things simple but descriptive.

Also, use a profile picture (better if it’s professional one took by a photographer), preferably of your face. Your profile is your presentation card and needs to be on point. Or make a logo if you want to build more of a business brand instead and use it as profile picture.

Gig description is fine as long as you use keywords (the search term buyers are going to find your gig from). Put yourself in the place of the buyer, how will you search the service you provide if you were them? The answer to that question are your keywords. You can also read what top sellers at your category put in description and title and the words that repeat the most, tend to match the words buyers search. IMPORTANT: if you’re going to change gig title to improve SEO, you have to delete the whole gig and start a new one with the new title, because URL gig is always the same as the first title your gig had. It’s a pretty big change so if it’s not to improve, don’t change it.

I agree with @moonstaredits

The main issue here is that you assume that people know what a Penetration Test is. I can think of a few things but apparently, they are not allowed on Fiverr (because aliens aren’t allowed ID - what were you thinking lol).

The image has a Hackerish quality but again you are thinking like a Hacker and not a business owner. What does a business owner want? confidence is my assumption. You do not want to be selling Hacking (vulnerability, exposure), you need to be selling Confidence. There is a reason that the Bayer Logo is a cross and not a chemical sign. They make chemicals, but they sell confidence that your headache will go away.

The Gig title is not necessarily wrong if you are targeting people who know what that is. If not it is either scary or clever seeing it does get to what you do - try to go where no man wants to be gone. Whichever you choose, make sure you play that fully and make the supporting material human readable.

This means drop the technobabble like Xquery of the SQL Java jiggle layer conduit pinger. If a customer really wants to know that you can do that they will ask can you: do an Xquery of the SQL Java jiggle layer conduit pinger? If you totally feel it must be there, put it in FAQ that you have a list of random letters that turn on Hackers in the PDF in your Gallery. this lets you focus the main Gig text on building Confidence.

And yes get a Logo or Avatar, if not a photo of you (you not a model).

🙂
