You are not allowed to ask for reviews at all, as has already been said multiple times above. You can get a warning for doing so.

Also, I suggest you do not use a stock image of someone else as your profile picture, as it is against Fiverr’s TOS to misrepresent yourself.

Furthermore, since you apparently have a doctorate in Computer Engineering from Oxford University and even graduated with honors, I suggest you find a way to offer something related to that field. Perhaps you would get better reviews then?

How do you get 5 reviews and all of them are negative? wow!

I also caught that this image they are using is some stock image grabbed off the internet. Looks fake, and may be why you got bad reviews or will impede your ability to succeed here. Also, why do I have a funny feeling this person is NOT a PhD or has a doctorate in computer engineering? Oxford University? Really now? Might as well have said MIT or Harvard. I would think someone who has a PhD in this field would be in academia, as most who have PhDs do so because they go on to be professors or go into research. At least, that is what my son, who has a PhD in math is doing at Princeton.

In some ways, I wish this site were like Just Answer - if you say you graduated from some fancy school or have some fancy degree you have to prove it or you cannot put it in your listing to sway people to buy your services.

As far as I can see, Oxford University does not even offer Computer Engineering.

TOOO Funny! See, and if someone who is really versed in their high end schools, they will know that and know the person is a fraud. If someone has a PhD, most likely, they are not going to be hitting up Fiverr to earn money - and IF they were, they would certainly be in the PRO category given the credentials mentioned above, right? I mean, supposedly, they graduated the top of their class! My daughter has a degree (bachelor) in computer science and graduated summa cum laude - but the last place she would think to work is here. She makes bucks in the real world.

Oh, well, I have a bachelor in International Business and also graduated summa cum laude. 😅 I am a bit of a weirdo, though!

I like Fiverr stars and badges more than money! I’m like a human magpie for shiny badges!

Well, I probably should not have said it like I did as if having a degree or graduating with top honors means one would never work here or find success on Fiverr. Certainly you have! She is not a self-employed type or entrepreneur like me. She likes the security of working with a large contractor that works with the government.

Don’t worry, I completely understand! As you said, it depends on whether you value security or not. That being said, you are right that if you get a PhD, you will most likely not work here - or at least be a PRO!

The knowledge I obtained during my degree has certainly helped me get orders on Fiverr and also in other ventures, so I am happy I got it!
