It’s normal to have low or no activity when you start. Clients aren’t waiting with bated breath for you to appear, it takes time. Sometimes a lot of time.

It takes patience and perseverance. Please, please ignore the completely false advice you’re going to get about staying online 24/7 and being active in the commuity will get you jobs. It really doesn’t. Just make sure your gig is attractive to your prospective buyers, ensure that you respond to buyer requests in clear, well-written English and it will happen.
